🐠 Behavior & Temperament

Corydoras are highly social bottom-dwellers that do best in groups. They spend much of their time foraging across the substrate with their barbels and may occasionally dash to the surface to gulp air, which is normal behavior for this group.

💡 Care Guide

Provide a soft sand or smooth substrate, stable water quality, and regular feeding with sinking foods such as pellets, wafers, and frozen foods. Keep them in groups of 6 or more for best confidence and natural behavior. They pair well with many peaceful community fish and appreciate open bottom space as well as some shelter.
