💧 What is Brackish Water?
Brackish water is a mix of freshwater and saltwater, typically found in estuaries, mangroves, and coastal areas where rivers meet the ocean. The salinity is higher than freshwater but lower than full saltwater.
Typical Parameters:
- • Salinity: 1.005-1.015 specific gravity
- • Temperature: 24-28°C (75-82°F)
- • pH: 7.5-8.5
- • Hardness: 10-25 dGH
